Terms and Conditions (Ts & Cs)

1. Campaign Period

  • The campaign will award 50 winners who correctly predict the winning team for matches played between the 3rd of July and the 19th of July, 2026.
  • Predictions are only valid on the specific match days via the in-app popup interface before the game starts.

2. Eligibility Criteria

  • To participate in the Predict & Win promotion, you must meet the following criteria:
    Be a registered Tala customer with an active account.
  • Must log in and access the feature exclusively via the official Tala Android app.
  • Must hold a valid, active M-Pesa registered phone number tied to your Tala account for prize fulfillment.

3. Winners & Prize Selection

  • The Reward: The first (1st) customer to correctly predict the winning team of a select match wins Ksh 1,000.
  • We shall select the first 2 – 4 winners depending on selected matches. Timestamps generated by our system will serve as the final, absolute source of truth to determine who submitted the correct prediction first.
  • Winners will be verified and announced the following day.

4. Prize Disbursement

  • All cash prizes will be sent directly via M-Pesa to the winner’s registered phone number.
  • Prizes are non-transferable.

The “Predict & Win” promotion is an exciting, gamified campaign where Tala customers can join the World Cup fun and stand a chance to win a cash reward by correctly predicting match outcomes inside the Tala app. It is our way of showing that Tala is your true partner (#PartnerWakoMtrue) through not only the serious but also the fun moments of life!

  1. Log in to the Tala App on the day of a featured match.
  2. Look out for the popup screen showing the two competing countries.
  3. Simply tap and select the team you think is going to win that day’s match before kickoff.
You can participate once per featured match across the selection of matches during the World Cup tournament.

For each of the select matches, the fastest customer to guess the correct winner walks away with Ksh 1,000 in cash.

If you are the first customer to submit the correct prediction, you will be announced the following day. You will receive an in-app notification and a confirmation SMS with details regarding your win.

Verified cash prizes are disbursed via M-Pesa within 24 hours of the match concluding.
